The first step involves a thorough inspection of the tile or stone so we can identify loose grout, chips, cracks, lippage, or any other potential problems. An emulsifying solution appropriate for the surface will be applied to the tile and grout lines.
The technician will agitate the grout lines with a grout brush to break the soil away from the cracks and crevices in the grout. This step can be the difference between a good results and a great results.
On glazed tile and some stone surfaces we use a high pressure Turbo washing tool. This tool uses fresh water that can be super-heated from 175 to 260 degrees, and up to 1000 psi depending on the tile or stone surface. It can be amazing to watch this step as the soil is melted away leaving a clean and dry tile surface with no overspray of moisture.

Bolton's did an amazing job. They cleaned my kitchen floors and the grout and did a beautiful job. I hate my kitchen tile and would rather rip it up and put new down, but Bolton's cleaned it so well that I can enjoy it again. They also cleaned it so well that we found different colored grout, so they came back the next week to restain the grout and make it all match. I would definitely recommend them. They are nice, friendly and great to work with.
